Privacy Policy

Last updated July 9, 2026.

Every field on the four Medigap calculators here runs its arithmetic on your device. The plan you're pricing, the age bracket, the region, none of it is transmitted to a server we operate, so this policy is short by design.

What never leaves your browser

Plan letter, age bracket, region, Part D premium, and every other number you type into a calculator is read by JavaScript running on your own device and discarded the moment you close or refresh the tab. There is no account to create and no database on our end recording past visits or past estimates.

The one thing we do track: usage patterns

Standard web analytics tell us which calculator or guide gets opened most and where readers drop off, so we know what to fix first. That data is aggregated traffic counts, not a record tied to an individual visitor.

AdSense and cookies

Google AdSense may place cookies to show ads it judges relevant to you. Google's own ad settings page lets you adjust or turn off personalized ads, and your browser lets you block or delete cookies outright without breaking any calculator on this site.

Links to insurers, brokers, and quote tools

Some outbound links on articles and calculator pages are affiliate links. If you click through and request a quote or take another qualifying action, MedigapExplained may earn a commission. That arrangement never changes which plan letter a calculator recommends or what a guide says, because the math and the writing are done before any affiliate relationship is considered.

Children's information

This site is built for people navigating Medicare eligibility, generally adults 65 and older, and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Updates to this policy

We revise this page when our tools, ad setup, or analytics provider changes. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
